In a male-dominant field like filmmaking, the movie Shadowland had a surprising number of women working on this project. We initially dubbed ourselves the “Femme Force Five” as there were five women on the crew… We kept crossing out that number as more women joined the team, and eventually became the “Femme Force Fifteen.”
