READ THROUGH

Jay Kelley (Homeless Guy) has been friends with writer/director Wyatt Weed since high school, and when Wyatt was writing the script for Shadowland, he had Jay in mind for the Homeless guy from the beginning. The casting for this role was simple and old school because the part was written for him.

Jason Contini (Julian) however, was found using the new school – he was found on MySpace (okay, new school at the time!). I was searching for local actors and found Jason’s profile online -reading it over, I realized this guy not only had been acting for years (since he was three!) but also he had a lot of similar interests that Wyatt has! After meeting for coffee, Wyatt knew Jason was the guy! A couple of audition sessions with the other key actors to make sure the chemistry was there, and Jason was cast as the lead vampire hunter, Julian.
